what is 'duplicate pageviews' in the results ?
Thanks for your question. The "Duplicate pageviews" error in the results are tied to Google Analytics firing twice on the same pages for the same UA number. Tag Inspector is capable of doing deeper validation for Google Analytics and can detect if a single Google Analytics Account (with a unique UA number) fires twice on any given page.
This is considered an error because typically a unique Google Analytics account should fire only once on pageload for any given page, as double firing/tracking would inflate pageviews tracked for that visit/visitor and severely impact site metrics.
How long is the scan valid?
If I make a scan, how long will it stay on your site. Or if I share the link to the scan, how long will it be valid?
Hello!
A scan will be accessible to you as long as your account is active. Additionally, if you access and share the link to the scan, it should always be active.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

How to capture tag id's in the crawl?
Is there a way to capture the tag id that's associated with the tag? For instance, the tag id for Floodlight tags is the advertiser id in DoubleClick Campaign Manager. Is there a way to pull down the tag identifiers into the results?
Non public website environment scans
How can I use for our internal, non public environments... do you supply us with IP's to whitelist?
By default, the IP's used by Tag Inspector so scan sites are random. We do have the ability to enable the use of a static IP for scans though. I went ahead and enable this functionality for your account. The IP you will see traffic coming from is: 54.209.73.243.
How do I change my password?
I would like to change my password for the account. I looked through the My Account area, but can't find anything.
If I have a scan in progress, how do I view older scans for same site?
We released a Hotfix to add this functionality back into Tag Inspector. When view a pending scan, you should now see the 'Previous Scans' dropdown:
Thanks for pointing this out!
